Current Research Projects
Central and decentralised exchanges for the trading of digital currencies enable API connection to their servers. It allows the development of cross-exchange trading bots that test for arbitrage opportunities. The different market-making mechanisms, i.e. clearing processes, between central and decentral exchanges lead to inefficient pricing of currencies and allow arbitrage opportunities to occur.
Going along with arbitrage at praxis, the field of digital currencies allows aggregating big data to learn about both investor and market behaviour.
